Choosing your wallpaper
Please be aware that colours on your computer or phone screen are always slightly different from how they will appear on your wall. Additionally, colour is constantly changing depending on the context. Lighting in the room, the floor, or furniture pieces in the space—all these factors influence how a wallpaper comes across. Therefore, order a sample and test the wallpaper in the actual room where you intend to use it.

Wallpaper instructions
You've received your wallpaper order, with these instructions you can apply the wallpaper to your wall in no time. And....no bubbles! With our printed wallpapers, connecting the pattern is easy.

What you need:

  • wallpaper
  • glue for non-woven wallpaper (eg. Perfax Ready & Roll)
  • a roller (for wallpaper or wall paint)
  • wallpaper spatula
  • large scissors
  • sharp stanley knife
  • bucket of warm water
  • sponge
  • microfiber cloth

Step 1: Preparation
Got all the items you need? Time to prepare your wall. The smoother a wall, the better the final result will be. Make sure you have a smooth and dry surface and fill any holes with wall filler. Then sand the wall filler until completely smooth. Never put wallpaper over existing wallpaper, remove any old remnants. Ensure the wall is evenly coloured; otherwise the color difference might show through the wallpaper. For an absorbent wall, first treat it with a primer.

Step 2: Cutting & laying out
Cut the strips from the roll and lay them out in the correct order. Also, check the extra tip at the bottom of the blog. Pay close attention to which end is the top and bottom of each strip. The second strip is rotated 180 degrees, so turn it before applying it to the wall. Roll the strips so the top end comes first. Start with strip 1 and always work from left to right.

Step 3: Applying glue & wallpapering

Apply a thin layer of wallpaper paste to a section of the wall about 50-60 cm wide. Use a roller to spread the paste evenly. Make sure to cover corners and edges as well. Place the first strip of wallpaper on the wall from top to bottom. Once the strip is in place, smooth it out with a wallpaper spatula. This will push any excess paste to the sides. Trim the excess paper from the top and bottom.

Step 4: Continue
Repeat step 3 until all strips are on the wall. Place the strips as tightly as possible next to each other to ensure the pattern continues seamlessly.

Step 5: Drying
Allow the wallpaper to dry thoroughly and immediately remove any paste residue with a damp, soft cloth.

Important tips!
We provide high-quality wallpaper. However, mistakes like print lines or printing errors can occur. We recommend inspecting the print before applying the strips to the wall. If you notice any errors before or during wallpapering, please contact us. As long as the wallpaper isn't yet applied to the wall, we will promptly send you new rolls! Check the wallpaper beforehand to avoid having to redo the entire process. Once the wallpaper has been applied, we will not accept any complaints.

Are you wallpapering over fiberglass wallpaper? We recommend applying a layer of wall paint first to reduce the risk of damaging the fiberglass wallpaper later.
